"If you’re spending some time in Bright, you MUST TRY the Spruce &Co waffles!! They have both sweet and savoury on the menu and are like nothing I’ve ever tasted before!! An absolute taste sensation These waffles are not just a meal, they are an experience in themselves. The waffles are made in house using locally sourced and organic ingredients. And good news for those that can’t have gluten as both varieties, corn and oat, are gluten-free. I tried the Spruce & Co waffle for breakfast one day and went back for the Woodland waffle for lunch the next. See pics And there is plenty more on the menu on offer! Without a doubt, the best coffee in town and all served with a smile by the thoughtful and caring staff. I will be day dreaming about these waffles until I return to Bright! "100000000 stars! Not joking, I just had the best brekky ever! The waffles were warm with that amazing corn flavour, it felt like eating something healthy but still SO yummy, not heavy at all. The beans were super tasty, and the Wandifarm sauce… wow, another level! Perfect egg too. I usually add heaps of pepper to my food, but this time I didn’t need to bcs the flavours were just perfect. Big thanks to the chefs, Rita and Bec! Also had a matcha beautifully made and warm. I could tell barista Lilly put so much love into it.. I literally felt it in my mug. The vibe in the café was so lovely, with locals and tourists all around. Anne was super friendly, explained the menu, and even shared some great tips about town. "YUM YUM! This cafe is absolutely divine. They offer a huge range of savoury and sweet waffles as-well as other breakfast items like bagels. The prices are a bit dear but the quality is worth it in my option. The service is incredible everytime we go and the staff are very friendly. "After walking past a few times due to signage “botanical alps” ( see pic) I spotted the menu with the cafe name and well reviewed waffles! If I was in Bright longer I think I would work my way through all the savoury and sweet varieties but settled on the classic oat waffle- delicious! Thinner than the corn ones- like a Dutch waffle. Added bonus, coffee was great and I could sit outside with the dog… although the interior looked lovely too."
